ABOUT US

We are a fashion showcase production company focusing on diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability. As a cultural and economic empowerment platform to provide visibility for people of Philippine heritage and their allies in the world of fashion. Whether it be design, modeling, photography, cosmetology, or narrative influence, FAFW aims for all creatives to promote the message of decolonization and sustainability through the various lenses of fashion.

In essence, we are DEI and Sustainability trade-show firm with a central focus on Fil-Am and Filipinx-American fashion.

Filipinxt is the first Filipino/a/x fashion show production organization to have been officialiy recognized on the New York Fashion Week calendar. Fil-Am Fashion Week has had a strong partnership with its leaders since 2023.

Our Process

The first step is to click here and complete the application. If you are a current FAFW 2025 model, you are expempted from the first step. Second, you must sign the Photo Release form on August 9, between 3:30-4:30pm at the FAFW Venue (Seattle Marriot Atrium). Want to stay for the show? Use FAFW25xNYFW to get discoutned tickets.

Our Promise

At Fil-Am Fashion Week, we do not charge application fees, modeling fees, or exercise mechanisms for models to rent or purchases dresses to model. We proudly uphold the ethics of the industry and promise to uplift models in every way we can.
